I received a mechanical engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology – IIT, Bombay, and an MBA degree from Kent State University, Ohio. That’s why I call myself a Marketing Engineer.
I founded Tiecas in Houston in 1987 when print media dominated industrial marketing. We created catalogs, technical brochures, trade advertising, and sales collateral.
By the mid-1990s, I saw industrial and manufacturing marketing shifting online and pivoted early into website development and digital strategy.
Over time, one truth became clear to me. Marketing fails when strategy, execution, and sales operate in silos.
Today, I work directly with manufacturers to build documented manufacturing marketing strategies aligned with long sales cycles and technical buyers.
